The Fair Music Project is presented by a consortium of 3 organisations: the International Music Council, New Internet Media, and the Swedish Society of Songwriters, Composers and Authors. The project is the result of many years of discussion and advocacy about the rights of music creators, in particular with regards to fair remuneration and recognition.

However, the artist can encourage their fans to subscribe; 80% of the subscription and almost 50% of the advertising (guest players) go directly to the artists/band. This is an addition to “Normal” royalty payments.
