Distributors check the files. Platforms check the plays. Parla will check before they pay.

We have the provenance, we have the royalty payments, we have the AI services, we have the fraudsters redirecting what royalties get paid out. What we need is a system that connects all of this and works. Now we do in Parla...

The first visitor to the honest internet was a robot

The most trustworthy reader on the Internet has no eyes, no opinions, and no friends on Facebook. It arrived at our servers 47 minutes after launch, checked proof against a public notary, found it validated, and came back a week later. We built the honest internet for exactly that guest.

The identity layer. Why AI law is moving beyond copyright.

The NO FAKES Act does not merely target fake celebrity songs. It signals a structural transformation in how law treats digital personhood, and the infrastructure to enforce it has not yet been built.

Rent the frontier or build your own.

I had to write this one too. The internet is brimming with whining over the US cutting off access to an AI model. Grab a tiger by the tail, expect the teeth. You do not get to run the most powerful AI on earth and act betrayed when the leash twitches. That was always the deal...

When AI is classifying the music experience, it can actually mimic human feelings.

The human brain does not separate music from place. It uses music to locate itself in a place, to understand what kind of experience is being offered, and to determine whether it is for someone like you.

While licensing waits, the machines still need to know who you are.

A follow-up to "The AI distillation scandal." Licensing waits for institutional conditions to complete their current shift. Identity does not. Japan proved the stakes and the mechanism.

The AI distillation scandal. A personal reckoning...

After more than 25 years on the technical side of the music industry, I understand exactly what is happening with AI and creator rights, and I can see the infrastructure that solves it.

Why the quantum computing threat is not your problem if you hold NIM tokens

The quantum computing challenge is real. For NIM participants, it is also mostly someone else’s problem.
